SAE ARP1843A – Surface Preparation for Structural Adhesive Bonding Titanium Alloy Parts
This recommended practice establishes the procedures and requirements for cleaning titanium alloy parts prior to adhesive bonding operations. The surface treatments described herein have proven effective for producing a suitable surface for application of adhesive primers, films, or pastes prior to bonding operations.
