MIL-DTL-5096H covers the requirements for the preparation of inspection and maintenancerequirements (-6) manuals and inspection (-6WC) work cards. This detail specification also covers thegeneral requirements for all checklists and specific requirements for maintenance checklists (as applicable toaircraft, Communication Electronic (CE) equipment, air/ground launched missiles, drones, support/systemsequipment, rockets and electronic systems). Some systems may require an inspection requirements manualonly or work cards only. For other systems a combination of both inspection manual and work cards maybe more suitable. This specification provides for Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) DocumentType Definitions (DTD) usage required for preparation of manuals, workcards and checklists listed in thisspecification (see appendices A through F, (appendices B, C, and E have been deleted)).
