SSPC SP 14 (WAB)/NACE WAB-8 – Industrial Wet Abrasive Blast Cleaning
This SSPC/NACE joint standard defines the process forpreparing a carbon steel surface to the Industrial degree ofsurface cleanliness using a wet abrasive blast (WAB) methodof cleaning. This standard is intended for use by coating orlining specifiers, applicators, inspectors, or others whoseresponsibility is to define a standard degree of surfacecleanliness for carbon steel surfaces to be achieved by wetabrasive blast cleaning.
